finals time. Everyone on campus is camped out in the common areas or
in their rooms. Students are stressed out and preparing for finals, surrounded by stacks
of note cards, textbooks, pizza boxes, coffee cups, and cans of empty
energy drinks – sound familiar?
After returning from lunch one afternoon during finals week, students stop by their mailbox to find an exciting surprise!
In the mailroom are fun, custom printed “cram packs” loaded with
snacks, teas, chocolates, and stress relievers for each student, sent
on behalf of their family at home to cheer them on during finals week.
The dorm lobby is full of excitement, surprise and jokes as
students stop by to pick up their packages. We've seen it in action –
it’s an incredible experience!
Your Role as the College Fundraiser OrganizerAside
from the fundraising potential, the most exciting aspect of this
fundraiser is the very limited amount of time your group will need to
spend to organize it. Just 6 to 7 hours of time is all it takes to bring this event together.
Your tasks:
- Work with your college administration office to send letters to parents notifying them of the finals cram pack surprise
- Prepare and mail letters to parents letting them in on the surprise
- Place package pickup notices in student's mail boxes
- That’s it!
What we do:
- Create the letter to be mailed to the families of students alerting them to the cram pack surprise
- Manage all orders, payments, and customer service questions
- Ship the cram packs to your college
- Create package pickup cards to be inserted in student’s mailboxes
- Cut you a check!
